Like I said in my last post, I really dislike living in Indianapolis. It's a franchised, nothing to do city. But, I'm stuck here until otherwise noted, so after almost 7 years of being here, I might as well try to enjoy it. Try being the operative word there.
And, like I said before, the cuteness of downtown is undeniable. Monument Circle is surrounded by cafes and restuarants, and hotels and horse drawn carriage rides. The Circle is all brick, and the trees have fairy lights on them year round. After Thanksgiving, the Monument becomes the world's biggest Christmas Tree, and they have an event celebrating it.
Downtown Indy is cute, and though I'm struggling to be actually feel okay here, at least I can call it cute. That's more than I could say years ago.
