OUTFIT | Welcoming November

As I'm writing this, it's a sunny 70 degrees outside. Sort of unreal for a mid fall day.

November, to me, is the beginning of the end of the year. It's not the first day of Christmas to me, as it is to the rest of the internet, it's more of the end of the year as we know it.
November and December go by incredibly fast to me, mostly because I work in retail and there are so many days of celebration between now and January--my anniversary with my boyfriend, his birthday, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Christmas and New Years. Because all these days (minus the dreaded Black Friday) bring excitement, there is no time to long for the days, and so they go by so fast.
To be honest, I can't wait for snow and to take scenic photos with the inches of snow littering the ground. I'm a winter baby, and I really feel the most comfortable surrounded by mounds of snow than the blistering sun, pastel flowers or the current red-brown leaves falling all over. I love you fall, but you're not winter.

Olive green is such a wonderful color. I really love this little skirt that I barely wear that I got last year. I looked through my archive, and I haven't worn this skirt in over a year on here! Whenever I wear things I haven't worn in a while, it jump starts my creativity. I paired the skirt with a striped tee I thrifted a long long time ago, a long cardigan from Yoins and a leopard scarf, for a bit of pattern mixing. Boots finish off the look for a perfect fall look--even if it doesn't feel like fall.
Just a little look today!
