I recently thrifted these boots and this hat and oh my goodness, I never knew a little black hat and some cut out booties could make a look. I've been lusting over cut out boots for such a long time, and though the days of them being super trendy are gone, I still think they're an interesting and worthwhile investment. Also, hats are obviously my thing, and an added black hat is never a bad thing.

Thrifting is a love of mine. I can't even imagine what my style would be without the thrift store--a good chunk of my closet is secondhand. You can find absolute gems, and on trend pieces for such a little amount of money. 
I recently thrifted these cut out booties, which I have almost bought three times now, and I couldn't be any happier. I put off buying them because I wasn't convinced that I'd wear them, but the more I looked at them, the more I realized they were something I'd wear over and over again, I also thrifted this black bowler hat, which I promptly cleaned. I have many other bowler hats but not a black one, until now! You'll be seeing these in an outfit very soon, like maybe tomorrow. I'm impatient!

Obviously, the NYX lipsticks aren't thrifted, but they're also new in. The Butter Lipstick in Mary Janes and their Matte Lipstick in Alabama. I'm in a red mood lately, wearing vampy bricks and maroons, and the classic red lip, so these will definitely fit into my collection of reds nicely.

All day it has been dark: cloudy, dim and just all around dingy. It's like, no matter how many lamps and lights you turn on, it still is dim. Oh well!

No worries, I'm not abandoning the blogging world for the video world, I just like dabbling in videos.

Today is a wet, humid, grey day, and though it look green and vibrant in these photos and video, it was quite dark. I love how the white dress sticks out from the earth tone backgrounds, but doesn't look too harsh.

All aboard the bralette as tops train!

I don't eat breakfast. I know, I know, it's the most important meal of the day and it jumpstarts your metabolism.  I get that, but at 5 am, or sometimes earlier, eating something doesn't even sound good, and I don't get hungry until around lunch time, anyway. So,. breakfast is usually one of those meals that sounds good at night.
But, on days that I have the time, it's sometimes calming to prepare a small breakfast.
