It's pretty chill outside. Chilly enough for a sweater? Not really, but nice enough that I'm not too hot.
Those days are the best, where the wind is chilly but the temperature is comfortable. This sweater is actually a really lightweight one, so it's meant more for Spring, anyway.
Mixing seasonal items, like sweaters and boater hats, can make for a really interesting outfit. I don't think I'd ever mix a coat with flip flops, but sandals and jeans, or cardigans and shorts I could do. I paired the sweater with a lightweight chambray skirt from Forever 21 and a pair of cut out buckle boots. With the addition of a thrifted straw boater hat and an envelope crossbody, this outfit was perfect for a burger lunch outside and cloudy drive around the city.
