What Indiana lacks in beaches it makes up for in sun, which makes being poolside a must!
For this holiday weekend, I compiled a list of poolside essentials for all of you lucky ducks out there with a pool!
1) Hat
This hat by Scala is perfect for being around the pool because it's packable, comes in a bunch of cute colors, and has the added benefit of having an UPF 50+ rating, which is a huge health and beauty anti-aging bonus! Scala offered me this hat for free, and I just had to share the amazingness with you all!
2) Bikini
Every bikini is a bikini body, and a colorful one is great for lounging poolside. This one is actually on sale on Vinted right now!
3) Kimono
A lightweight kimono makes for a wonderful cover up! Keeps you covered, dry and cute, and you can find them almost everywhere now. This one was thrifted and is perfect for the pool!
4) Sunglasses
Keep the sun at bay with sunglasses. These from Yoins are great for the pool because they're large and just dramatic, like me!
5) Sunscreen
This isn't pictured, but needs no reasoning: sunscreen. You need to protect yourself from the sun';s harmful rays, no matter how long you spend outside.
