Houndstooth and Brown

Houndstooth and brown, a bizarre and welcomed match made it fall heaven.

It's cold and I am loving it. I am loving everyone in their sweaters, drinking hot drinks and holding hands. It's the cutest. I'm also loving that fall is finally in full swing and I can bust out my tights. I mean, this is just a black pair--and I own a dozen other pairs in different colors--but it's still great to be able to wear skirts and dresses when the weather says you shouldn't.


This shawl though guys, let's talk about this shawl! It's from ModCloth and it's actually reversible, so the other side is a gorgeous red plaid, perfect for the late fall/early winter season.I am in love. And, it's the first one size fits all item I've gotten that is true to their words, so I'm one happy camper. I cannot wait to wear it in all it's red plaid glory!

There is just something so great about strolling around the brick clad Circle with Tony and seeing the trees dressed in their autumn best. The Autumn season is my favorite not only because of the clothing and temperature, but because the world just changes it's pace and it seems to just slow down. In the summer months, you race to get everything you want done before Summer is over, but in Autumn, you just relax and prepare for the impending cold season and therefore, it's more inherently relaxing. Or, at least, that's how I feel.
