Collars on top of leather.
In my journey to discovering my personal style, I have gone through a lot of looks, my most major being layering things over collared shirts. I did it for every look--it was my thing--but then, other looks started creeping up, and collars were on the back burner. I still do love layering shorts and dressed with collars under high neck garments, but it's definitely not my go-to look anymore.
I keep seeing this ad for ModCloth, advertising their work attire, and on it, there is this gorgeous yellow blouse under a dress, and this outfit is inspired by that. I'd hardly consider my style to be vintage, or even vintage inspired, so this less ModClothesque and more I-layered-two-dresses-to-create-a-cute-look, look.
