Wide Brim Hat Forever 21 Off the Shoulder Top High Rise Jeans shoes
August, to me, marks the start of late summer. Right now, we're experiencing highs in the low to mid 70s here in Indy, so mother nature is agreeing with me. Unfortunately, that is.

I'm a skirts person, and that is incredibly obvious by almost every outfit I have showcased here. I love the free, flowing feeling of a skirt or a dress, and how casual or dressed up you can make them. But, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy pants every now and then.

I thrifted these jeans for a little over $5 the other day, and they're so comfy, They're originally from Forever 21, which of course means the zipper is terrible and they smell like poor quality jeans, but for $5 and for an every-once-and-awhile garment, I'm okay with that trade off. I paired it with my new favorite top, this bell sleeved off the shoulder top, and I'm in love. I wore something similar to this a few outfits ago, but that shows the reality of me and my style: I'm Katie Lee, the outfit repeater (ala the Lizzie McGuire movie).
