The temps have been staying at the 60s here lately, and living off of a lake, it really effects the temperature.
So, layering is a must. Who am I kidding, layering is always a must.
I thirfted this dress a while back and though I dislike the shape and design of the dress, I can't help but to love the floral print. I layered my faux leather skater skirt from Forever 21. It's a wondrous transitional piece in my wardrobe. I paired my dress with this lovely infinity scarf from Lauren (her shop is currently inactive while she's in school), and I love how the creamy taupe color brings out the red and browns on the dress. I belted the waist of the dress to define my waist, and added knee highs and oxfords.
I love the look of knee highs and oxfords because it's very school girl and it's sweet and innocent. As an American born and raised. I never got to experience the cliche school girl uniform, so it's exciting for me to get to channel that. Plus, I can never say no to legwear.

Ah I've been wearing knee socks a ton lately as well! And I wear uniform skirts a lot because It's hard to find good quality knee length skirts anywhere else (I get mine from Lands End). I love your faux leather skirt <3 I haven't worn mine in a while thanks for reminding me I had it :P You're hat is adorable and your eye makeup is lovely as well <3
