We were originally going to go to the Indiana State Fair today, but tackling the Midwest's largest midway in the mud and thunder was not appealing at all.
It's still summer, much to my disappointment. It is my ideology that once the months start to have long names, the weather should be getting colder. I don't know why I think that, considering it is 100% untrue and unrealistic, but it's always been like that for me. So, once July ends, I always welcome in plums and maroons and jewel tones into my life before I realize that I'm a little bit too early. That's what happened in this outfit--mustard yellow. Mustard yellow is one of my all time favorite colors and I could not pass up this top from Forever 21, even though it's technically geared towards the fall weather. In my defense, though, it's only like 73 outside, which is early fall weather.
Fact: I'm wearing this shirt backwards. I get that it's supposed to be like a nice surprise on the back but I quite like the lace up front trend going on now. Risque, yet still covered.
