ELF Matte Lip Color in Rich Red Review!

Today, I went out to Wal-Mart, and while I was snooping around the make up, I noticed ELF (which is now carried in Wal-Mart) had matte lip colors. I love matte colors so I picked myself up a red one, Rich Red, to be exact, for $3.

It's shaped like a crayon but it twists up like a lip stick. It's not a lip liner, like it's shaped to be, but you could certainly use it as so.  I like the point because it made it very easy to get into the corners, as well as up near my Cupid's bow.

It's a very opaque product. It sits thin on your lips though, and it doesn't feel like anything is there. But, like most matte colors, it is a bit drying. You can certainly fix this with a gloss, or using balm under neath. 

The only complaint I could possibly have about Rich Red is that it stains your lips. It doesn't stain them red, but more of a pinky color, which is wearable if you really want to make it so.

It's probably not the right shade of red for my tone, but to be honest, I love it anyway. And, for $3, it really couldn't be beat.
