Happy Valentine's Day!
I know it's a bit cliche to say, but I don't like celebrating Valentine's Day. It's not that I don't like the day, it's just that I've never had a reason to celebrate. I've had my fair share of boyfriends, and I'm not usually single, but since my birthday is only 11 days after Valentine's day, there is really no point in being lavish. Plus, I don't even know what I want. Tony is hellbent on getting me something, and I'm just hoping it isn't something big. Because I feel bad when people get me big things, it's a guilt thing.
This heart printed blouse I thrifted is so adorable. It's originally from Target (I can just tell), and it's actually quite transitional. Worn with the right things, it's definitely work place appropriate. But, it's casual and sweet worn with a skater skirt and boots, as well. It's lightweight, so you can wear it in the warm months and you can layer under and over in the cold months. Yay for transitional pieces! The only thing I dislike about the top is that it has awkward 3/4 length sleeves.
I paired the blouse with my ever-present pleated skirt, and only half tucked it in, because I like that look. I paired it with tights, brown boots, a brown and red belt and a hat for safe measure.
I don't know what's planned for today, but I'm up for whatever may come.
Except the snow. Why snow?!
