Surprise, surprise; it's cold outside. But, in this cool, but radiant day, I can't help but to wear my favorite colors: neutrals.

Earlier this week, it was warmer here in Indiana than in the perpetually warm Florida. Lakes thawed, windows opened, and there was a long line at the carwash. My boyfriend, the homebody, even decided we should go out and enjoy the weather. It was almost as if a wave of Spring hit and everyone was riding it. 
Too bad it's freezing again.  Winter is like that, though; you can experience all 4 seasons in one week. I like winter, so I welcome all of the inconsistencies and unpredictability. Plus, cold weather fashion is so much better than warm weather fashion. I'm a sucker for neutrals in every season, but winter especially. Brown is such a gorgeous gorgeous color, and I love donning it any moment I can. I wanted a more casual chic outfit today, so I opted for a texture blocked blouse and a pair of dark wash jeans, with brown booties and a draped brown scarf. Finished off with a hat, and I'm warm, cozy, and undeniably ready for early week adventures with the homebody boyfriend.
