Ice Cream Dream

Ice cream cone print and chambray shirts make for a sweet summer outfit!

I know this is a far departure from my normal outfits, but this is technically the root of my style: collared top, skirt and shoes. These are just in colors that I don't usually don. Bright colors on pale skin tend to make the skin look sickly pale. Don't get me wrong, I love my fair skin, I'm just not a fan of looking ill.

Ice cream is such a summer treat and is really the only sessert I like, so when I found this sweet little shirt at the thrift store a few years ago, I had to pick it up. It's too cute! I paired it with a coincidentally coordinated skirt and tied up and a chambray shirt for some added sun protection.

This chambray shirt is actually a men's shirt I thrifted a few years ago by mistake. It must have been in the women's section on accident, but it's a welcome accident. It's a bit loose on me so I don't wear it much because it can become unsightly. I wear men's clothes a lot for casual wear and lounging, but not usually when going out because I like to stick to a certain silhouette that men's clothes tend to not fit into. That's just me, though!
