Windy days in the city...
Forever 21 hat
I love browns. Just, ugh. I am nothing if not predictable, and fall is the season where I just wear all of the colors and none of the colors at the same time. I paired this mustard yellow skater skirt from Amazon and a thrifted open stitch sweater for some warmth. With the addition of some tights, this is a great outfit for the chilly fall days. I decided to toss on this DIY poncho coat (let me know if you want a tutorial!) for some added fall vibes, and because it really is that cold out there.
The temperatures keep dropping and then rising and then dropping again, so you go from "oh, this feels nice!" to "ugh, it's hot" to "wow, it's cold outside" in a week's time. When I came back from Arizona, a place where it was a constant 90, the 60 degree weather I stepped off a plane in to was heavenly. Then it rose back up to the 80s and then today, it's colder than it was before.
Today was spent painting pumpkins gold and hot gluing the stems back on, after the ride from the farmers market broke them off. I'm creating an outdoor display of white, orange and gold pumpkins to give the patio some well needed and deserved fall attention.
