Big hat, neck scarves and yellow, autumn is approaching.

Autumn is approaching--the leaves are changing, the birds are leaving, and the PSL is back (even though I don't like pumpkin spice.) Like most women my age, autumn is my favorite season. Jewel tones are my favorite, and cool temperatures have me at ease. Now, if only mother nature got the message and cooled down a bit.
This scarf is to die for, I swear. It's a recent purchase from thredUP and I am in love! I picked up this hat from the same order, too. I love the scarf because it's a genuine neck scarf, not a bandanna, so I can wrap it around my neck multiple times and still be able to knot it in intricate ways. This hat is like a modern day witch hat: dramatic, floppy and magical. I will definitely be getting a ton of use out of it this autumn winter season.
To celebrate the end of summer, I wanted to keep things lightweight but still leaning towards the impending cooler season. The lace bell sleeve dress paired with my beloved yellow maxi skirt is a cool for summer outfit, but the yellow screams fall, and the booties and hat help to ground it.
The end of September is nearing, and November is getting closer and closer. No, I didn't forget about the fan favorite October, but November is always the busiest month of the year of us and this year is no exception. From moving across the city, to our 6 year anniversary, to his birthday and the beginning of the Holidays, November is going to be a handful. But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way.
