Summer is slowly coming to an end, and the cold weather is sneaking up on us. Everything changes in fall; the leaves change, the fashion changes, and even beauty products change.
Lipstick is a made up face's best accessory. It can make or break a face, and it can tie in so many elements into an outfit. It's hard to believe that one swipe of color on the lips can hold so much power, but it does.
Here are my top lipsticks for the fall!
Avon Lipstick in Classic NudeAvon lipsticks were my first lipsticks. My mom was an Avon lady when my make up fascination began and I used to steal her lipsticks. This one, Classic Nude, is my go-to when I want color on my lips, but I don't want something to bold. It's great at work when I don't want to be bland. Nudes are every season. It's always in my make up bag, and it will always be there.
Revlon Lipstick in Baby PinkBaby pink lipsticks are a must have in every season. They're a girly touch, and the frosted pearlescent of this lipstick makes it especially lovely in the cooler months. It's undeniably girly, and I love it. This one in particular is great when the chill in the air washes the color from your face.
Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Blushing BaliMauve is simply gorgeous in the fall. It's dark undertones are great and it. This one has a pink sheen and it's beautiful in any kind of light. Mauve lipsticks are gorgeous in fall because they're usually very light in texture and pigmented. This one is just that. It has a nice color pay off and it stains your lips the prettiest color.
Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Dark WineI can not get enough of this lipstick. For $0.93, it's a steal. As someone who is a Casper (ghostly white), it contrasts with my skin, and as you all know, it's juxtaposition I love. It's the same reason why I love red lipsticks too. This wine color reminds me of Rhiannon from Fashion Rocks my Socks (who looks great in color), and so I had to buy it right when I saw it. Wine is great for fall because it's so rich, and autumn is usually associated with rich colors.
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Red Velvet
I have many many many red lipsticks. But, this one is different. The bulk of this collection is WetnWild, and there is a reason for it: they have quality lipstick. Their lipstick is super pigmented, and this one is no exception. Reds are an absolute must in autumn. When I think of autumn, I think or changing leaves, Starbucks, and red lipstick. Red Velvet is a blue based red, so it's a cool red which is more acceptable for fall than summer.
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Stoplight RedAnother red. It's a cool true red, and it's so gorgeous. It's one of my favorites, I'm on my third tube since the beginning of the year! It's a must have for a lover of red lipsticks (and it also looks identical to MAC's Ruby Woo). It's a matte lipstick, so a little bit of balm before application keeps it from bleeding into your cracks.
I hope you all enjoyed! Shoot me some questions down below if you have any!
Have a great day!
