Gooooood afternoon~
I thrifted this dress yesterday on a quest for more plain black dresses. It's lace and has this cute exposed back zipper. It was undeniably cute and for $2 I couldn't leave it hanging. Literally. It'll be great for the rest of this year because it's extremely versatile. And, lace is never out of season.
I belted the dress with this old thrifted belt to define my waist and threw boots on to juxtapose the femininity of the lace. I was going to add a piece of outerwear but it's actually summer outside today, so that wasn't going to happen.
So, as you can see, I did something impulsive. I dip-dyed my hair. The tips are now a beautiful magenta. And, when they fade, they'll be pastel pink. So, no matter what, I'm getting a really pretty color. Since tips of my hair are such a pretty color, I added my new floral crown to this outfit.
