Anorak--Thrift
Striped top--Thrift
Plaid Scarf--eBay
Jeans--H&M
Boots--Vinted
There's just something about the season's first snow. I'm a winter girl--born in the winter during a blizzard, snow is in my heart and my soul. Nothing makes me happier than shoe prints and snow in my hair.
This isn't really a snow weather appropriate outfit, but it is what it is. I love plaid with stripes because stripes are the neutral in the pattern world. It helps to make the plaid pop without being so...distracting. I paired this plain long sleeved striped tee with a plaid blanket scarf and donned a heavier anorak for a casual, yet warm, snow trekking outfit.
As you can see, we may have gotten distracted by the goose just hanging out in the snow around us. Geese are fearless, nonstop pooping birds, but I love them anyway.
What is your favorite snow day outfit?

It wasn't too bad out, so I was plenty warm. My face was the only thing not warm. These are the times I miss long hair, haha.
DeleteThank you!
What a cute preppy winter look! I love the paring of a horizontal striped top with jeans, tan booties and an anorak topped off with a plaid scarf!

Thank you so much!
DeleteI'm on the scout to add new booties to my shoe collection and love these. Also, I love the snowy photos I (kinda) wish it would snow more here!

Thank you, Merissa! Chelsea boots are the best thing to happen to me. I love them so much! These are originally from H&M, but almost everyone carries something similar to these.
