Trenches are great for layering in Spring, because they're lightweight and allow you to layer underneath, while keeping you dry and warm. I especially love them in the classic khaki, and they really lean towards the preppy side of things. So, I took that theme and ran with it!
When I see trench coats, stripes and pants are usually accompanying it. For this Parisian chic classic outfit, I paired a black and white striped top with some dark wash skinnies, and did a pattern clash with some leopard loafers. With the addition of a wide brim hat and a satchel, this casually chic outfit is perfect for a day shopping or a lunch date!

I really love the look of a dressier outfit with a trench over top, which is what I styled here. The peplum blouse adds the dressier flare to the outfit, while the ponte pants keep it sleek. With a pair of shiny flats and a coordinated scarf, this outfit is great for travelling, a downtown stroll, or a nice casual dinner.

Love all three looks but my favorite is the first one, just because I love all things stripes ;) Lovely blog here btw! Would you like to follow each other on GFC? Please let me know on my blog so I can follow back. Thank you.

Thanks, Lenya! I love the stripes, too. I'm a sucker for a good breton.
