The end of summer is near...
Thrifted hat
I say it's summer's end as of it's not like 90 outside and I'm wearing a kimono and sandals, but truly, summer is ending. The storms that keep brewing are proof of that.
Let me just go on a spiel about the dramatic kimono on my back--it's long, it's dramatic and it was only $5 at the thrift store. If I don't wear a pair of heeled shoes, it almost drags on the ground. I'm in love with it and I feel like it's going to serve well for the late summer season since it's a darker color while also being a summer item. I threw it on top of a basic outfit of a top and skinny jeans for the perfect dramatically casual Sunday.
Can it just be fall? Storms keep brewing and the ground is soaked and I'm just really sick of walking through puddles and mud and carrying an umbrella everywhere. Fall and winter are the best seasons, full of excitement and love and I cannot wait until I get to wear layers and layers of jewel tones and stomp on crunchy leaves.
What is your favorite season? Are you a fall lover like me, or do you prefer the summer sun?
